Workshop
Manifestation with Art and Movement
PHO~Integrated Health and Wellness combines Yoga/Movement and Art as a multi-sensory experience that has the ability to open your body, mind, and soul for deep relaxation, self-reflection, and self-expression. Yoga and breathwork help to relax the “MONKEY BRAIN” and open the physical body and allow the thinking/judging mind to slow down. Art making in this state enables us access to a less guarded, less self-conscious part of ourselves.
1. We do workshops to inspire Creative Manifestation with Art and Movement on our yoga mats
In our workshop we will clear unintentional energy by creating a cleansed, comfortable, un-intimidating environment so you can be in touch with your creative soul. Our workshop will be offered in an area that is peaceful and calm, away from any distractions. This could be a place dedicated to art, yoga, meditation or in nature, We will inspire creativity by cultivating relaxation and imagination with harmonious instrumentals or music. After we lay out your yoga mat, we will have your art supplies within reach. We will suppy watercolors, paintbrushes, water, paper towel, oil pastels, markers… etc. Anything goes!
Before we begin we will offer essential oils (favorites include peppermint, lavender and grapefruit) to ground and energize ourselves.
3. Journaling
We will also provide personal journals for you to write in. It is a great way to set an intention and drop into the present moment.
4. Yoga Practice
We will intuitively move through some sun salutations and feel-good stretches. The idea is to listen to your body and find connection and openness. Through our yoga flow– you will learn what your body is craving and what your mind and soul wants to manifest.
5. Meditation
After yoga, we will take a lying down savasana or seated meditation. Here we will offer a guided visualization and an intention setting opportunity.
6. Art Creation
With our materials of choice we can paint, draw, sculpt, or build. The idea is, the practice of being present to our breath as we were in yoga and meditation. We will experiment with syncing the movement of our hands to the music or instramentals playing in the background.
7. Witness
Near the end of the workshop we will embody our art work and journaling. Offer time to write in our journals whatever comes to mind. We will offer questions, comments, references, associations and try to draw insight about ourselves and the present moment from your art and journaling.
8. Reflection
We will take a moment at the end to observe how we feel and what it is we want to manifest. Of course we always take the time to thank our mind, body and soul.
